Mine happens to be Scotch, Oban to be specific.
Nice and peaty you'll think you're in the highlands with one whiff.

A bottle of fine Italian wine.

Some vino from the Nappa Valley.

I typically drink Seagram's ginger ale with a deli sandwich. Tonight I'm amping up the ale and having a Gingeronno.

1 1/2 oz. Amaretto Di Saronno liqueur
6 oz. ginger ale

Stir ingredients together in a highball glass 3/4 filled with ice cubes.

Enjoy.

When I see Amaretto Di Saronno I know that tis the season time is right around the corner. I don't combine mine with fizzy stuff. Instead of holiday egg nog, I enjoy an Amaretto Alexander.

Maker's Mark with a splash of water.

I'm recovering from one too many Crantini's that I embibed yesterday.

Me thinks the host was more than generous with the Vodka part of this drink.
