What sort of facial fuzz do you sport?

Don't feel too bad, Joe. Leonardo DiCaprio still uses a similar technique to hide his babyface.

Way to go! We have had a relatively mild summer here and many of the full beards, mine included, didn't get shaved for the summer. I did a couple of trims and kinda like it shorter rather than longer, but as the days get shorter and the temperature cools, I may just go longer again.

My beard is more of a compromise than anything else. The women in my life are dead set against me growing a beard with more length. It's my goal to bite the bullet this fall and rock a serious beard.

Grow a goatee with more length.

I get to about an inch in beard length before feeling too self-conscious about it, then trim to about 1/2 inch. I'd love to rock a long beard someday but I don't think I have the patience to go a year or more without trimming.

I maintain my goat at that length.
