This is the must see game USA vs England, June 12

The month-long World Cup 2010 tournament, which kicks off today is expected to be the most-watched television event in history. But will American audiences tune in? One early indicator of how many Americans will tune in to the World Cup this year could be the US team’s much–hyped first match against England Saturday, which will air at 2:30 Eastern time on ABC.

The British team, a contender to win the tournament, is heavily favored, but the US has history on its side. The last time the two teams played a World Cup match was 1950 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, when a rag-tag American team beat the British powerhouse 1-0. If the US can pull off another upset, maybe American audiences will be more likely to follow the national team through the tournament.

My youngest son had to choose a musical instrument at the start of the last school year.
He had 3 choices... a trumpet, drums and guitar. My wife and I went with the least annoying,
the guitar. So when he asked if he could get one of those Vuvezelas, I said an astounding NO.
No matter how you look at it horns in any form are annoying! Horns that sound like millions of bees are #$%$!!!!

If a horn is played right, it's not annoying. This is coming from an accomplished trombonist.

A trombone is an instrument. Vuvuzelas are cheap plastic party noisemakers.

Now that Team USA is no longer playing, all I have to say about World Cup Soccer is "hasta la vista, you darn vuvuzelas".

Sami Khedira's 82nd-minute winner earned Germany their fourth FIFA World Cup third place, bronze medal as they defeated Uruguay 3-2 in an exciting match.

They're still celebrating in Spain.

Did not appreciate the exploitation of children when the teams came on to the field.
