Today I finally got the battery replaced in my watch. I have not worn it in a long time but I finally found a decent place to change the battery and do the pressure thing so its waterproof. I now know if I ever come into a lot of money I'm going to get a A. Lange & Sohne watch. Very nice.

One of the watches I looked at had a clear backing so you can see the inner workings of the watch. It was so beautiful that I did not think I deserved to touch it. The saleswoman wore gloves to pick it up and I do not think I could have touched it considering the price tag was about $125,000.
The company only makes about 5,000 watches a year because they are built by hand. I guess there is nothing wrong with dreaming Smile

Sunglasses can be very pricey, so I tend to think of them in the same vein as jewelry. Cool

That could be said about any pricey accessory. Is an alligatoer belt jewelry? No! Is it expensive? Yes! Just because something's expensive doesn't mean it's jewelry.

Nothing wrong with dreaming. I would love to own a A. Lange & Sohne watch. Maybe in another lifetime. I've been to several stores where the sales staff wore gloves. Very ritzy and well above my price range.


I recently purchased these silver and gold-plated cuff links.
