What's the weather?

Monday we had the biggest snowfall of the season and for most of the week the temps stayed below freezing. Today most of the snow melted and temps by noon soared above 60. But that was shortlived. By evening the heat was back on in my home. I wish that spring was here to stay. Well at least we get an extra hour of daylight starting tomorrow.

The weather was nice for a couple of days, then it turned off back chilly. I am cold. It is in the upper 50's. Not using the heat today but will turn it back on as it is suppose to be in the 30 or 40's tonight.

Friday afternoon we had 3 storms to pass through. The 1st 2 didn't bring much. Lightening, Thunder some rain. Then the 3rd storm brought up what they are calling "an inland hurricane". We have been without power. But thankfully no one was hurt. There are towns around us that was hit just as hard. I never want to see that again!

It was 50 degrees here in Boston this morning. I had to go back into to my house this morning and put on a warmer jacket. The forecast for this week is lot's of sun with temps in the low 60's.
Nancy, something tells that forecast is not entirely right and those storms you had will be heading my way.

Let's hope you don't get what we got! Those winds were bad! I hate being without power!!

So far it's been a rainy start to the summer. Good for establishing roots on my crops. Now for some sun to get the growing going!!!

I've also been busy planting crops and all.

With so much rain, I can barely keep up with the growth!

I know what you mean. With the extra time on my hand this year, I planted loads of perrenials.
With a week of non-stop sunshine we finally got some colorful blooms to enjoy.

We're having unusually hot weather even for Palm Springs. It was 118 degrees just the other day.

A sunny & VERY humid 80 today.

Sounds good to me. Anytime I walk outside, it's like walking into a preheated oven.

Today is in the 80's and windy. I have allergies so bad, I look like I haven't slept in a week.

It`s sunny and in the 70s . . Time for a bit of tanning on the ole melon . .

It's about 80+ and the wind is blowing, so pollen is everywhere.

It was only 80 today. Weird weather. There was snow on top of the mountains.

In the 90s here... the only thing that would make it better is if I were out in it, instead of at work!!

There's a fire somewhere near the mountains, so the air feels heavy and it's windy.

^SB, are mountain fires a common thing in your region?

Yesterday was a picture perfect summer-like day. Temps in the 90's, low humidity and lots of sun. Today it's hazy, mid 80's and humid. I despise humidity.

No, not too common, but when a fire starts here it's very hard to put it out due to the dry and heavy vegetation that dies off during the heat of summer.
