My musical taste is very ecclectic. But I'm mostly fond of
Classic Rock - The Doobie Bros., Eagles, Led Zeppelin, and the Stones.

I have eclectic musical taste, but my favorites lean toward Classic Rock and Country.

I can appreciate almost any music for what it is and my itunes contains a vast amount of different genres. My favorite band will always be The Beach Boys though.

Just cuz I loaded up the jukebox with a long block of Emerson, Lake and Palmer, Yes, Jethro Tull, Todd Rundgren and Utopia doesn't mean you have to hate on me. I mean, honestly, anyone can play whatever they want, but the moment I load up on the Prog Rock, people get surly. What gives? 
It's ALL oldies on the jukebox. And Prog Rock, I mean, what better music was there EVER to drink beer to? And if you surrender to it, really will take you to another dimension.

I did not mean anything negative. I was just clarifying what I meant by progressive. I have not heard any progressive rock so I can not say what I think of it. I like most music so I'm sure I will like it.
EDIT: According to wikipedia pink floyd is progressive rock and I like them very much.
