Bearded vs. Bald

Bald 'n bearded is a double edged sword. For those of you that share this affinity for the rebel on the outside, which do you get more comments on, being bearded or being bald.

I get more questions about my beard, than my head.

I have been bearded in one form or other for waaay longer than I've been bald, so it doesn't get much notice/comment

I'm bald-by choice. It doesn't surprise me that I get more questions about my head than beard.

It all depends on whether one's bald-by-genetics or bald-by-choice. Genetics has given me a less than stellar head of hair. Thus, the point of discussion for me is all about my beard.

I hardly ever get any comments on my bald head. The beard seems to get all the attention.

My sunkist red head gets the attention.

It's been an even 50:50 split between my beard and bald head.

By a thin margin it's my bald head that gets noticed more.

My bald head has it over my beard.

My chin mitten never gets noticed.

I'm itching to let my beard run wild. Starting November 1st I'm putting my trimmer away for a while.

Why wait till Novemebr 1st?

If I shave my head, I also shave all facial hair.
Kind of catartic process, I guess.
So, obviously, people noticing the grey shadow on my head realise that I have hair and cut 'em by choice.
Thus, they want to know why, etc...
Women find my look "hot", in their words... but I love my girlfriend so...

I too sport the "Mr. Clean" look. It simplifies things. And the chicks seem to like it that way.
I've noticed that when I walk into public places, the young ladie glance at me more often now without hair than when I had hair. Go figure!

Some contrast FOR ME is needed to offset a shaved head.

It's a matter of choice. Sometimes, less often than not I sport a circle beard.

I'm letting my beard grow wild for awhile. Good contrast to the shaved head.

Thanks, man! Going for it!

Tried the Mr. Clean for a week this summer. Didn't like it and neither did my wife.

Have trimmed my beard back a bit now, but the frequency and negativity of the comments really took off when it was longer and bushier. Just made me stronger and determined to not give in to them. I trimmed when I was ready to do it.
