Lady Gaga meets Queen Elizabeth II

You have to hand it to Lady Gaga: she won't give up her eccentric aesthetic for anyone, not even the Queen of England.

Lady Gaga had the honor of meeting Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Variety Performance in Blackpool, U.K. last night. According to the U.K. Sun, the singer took the stage in a flowing PVC pleather gown, accessorized with a giant Elizabethan ruff and several red sequins adorning her eyes.

``Good evening, Blackpool,'' Gaga said, greeting the audience, playing the piano while suspended 20 feet in the air. ``Let me hear you rattle your jewelry.

Even more impressive --- the Queen seemed delighted by Lady G when the two met backstage, and the monarch couldn't suppress her giggles when the singer and self-described ``performance artist'' curtsied in her elaborate PVC get-up.

I heard that Gaga is bald.

I heard she's a dude.

A bald dude? That's rediciulous.

Lady Gaga leaves no stone unturned in her search for style inspiration. Sunday night the eccentric star apparently found it in the form of Emma Thomson's famous children's character, Nanny McPhee.

The Paparazzi singer arrived at Carnegie Hall in New York for Sting's Rainfoirest charity benefit in clothes that mirrored magical time-travelling nanny's trademark cloak. Her hair, which appeared to be a shade of grey, was pulled back into a matronly bun.
