In fact I'm using it to tell my brother-in-law that his grass is more than patchy and it's time for him to mow his lawn.

The "rolling razor" reminds me of the headshaving equivalent of a lawn mower.

I let my lawn grow over the weekend. Man, after close inspection Sunday night, the lawn is patchier than ever. Took out my Fusion Monday morning and did a thorough job of shaving my head free of hair.

Cool analogy. Gotta mow my head ASAP, before the weeds take root.

All this talk about lawns reminds me that I have to rake the leaves.

One of my buddies has a real patchy lawn. Should I be the one to tell him, it's time to mow the lawn?

True about your lawn, but if your referin' to your hair, that's not the case. Summer heat makes hair grow faster. So whatever hair you may have is growin' and needs extra shavin' to keep the patches from showin' up.

Interesting theory. Maybe that's why my folks used to give me a crew cut the last day of school.

Yesterday while giving my lawn it's first cut of the season, I was reminded of this thread.
With Spring approacing in 4 days, many bruthas maybe discovering that after a long winter of wearing hats, their lawn maybe be patchier than ever. Now's the time to mow the lawn and allow the sun to shine on through (with SPF, of course)!

This summer's sun rays seem to be stronger than those of years past. Mid-day I've been keeping my bald pate under protective cover....hat, bandana and lots of SPF.

Feel for you bro!! Been there done that. I'll be on my Uncle Tony's boat this weekend. Will definitely put on an extra coat or two of sunscreen on my head.
