Dealing With Baldness

Post  BladeRunner on Mon Dec 21, 2009 8:17 am

I think its a generational thing. A lot of older guys deal with it with pure acceptance or a comb-over. Younger men and those seeking to take advantage of the current fashion trend are sporting shaved heads, but in all fairness to those who are reluctant, it's hard. It's hard to picture yourself with a shaved head, and its hard to believe that you actually get used to it and grow to like it rather quickly.

I refuse to let social anxiety and insecurity marginalize my life and happiness.
Instead I find happiness within myself and rise above any ill-conceived ideals of our culture.

It's the cheapest and most practical solution to hairloss. There's nothing to lose, except yourself if you can't accept it. Considering other hair options, you'll end up getting a head shave sooner or later.

When my hair got patchy, I dealt with it by covering it with a hat. Evil or Very Mad
Who was I fooling. Only myself. The best way to deal with baldness is to come clean and headshave.

I have nothing to hide. I rarely wear a hat. My head is open for all the world to see. sunny

A hat is a necessary accessory when you're head is exposed to the elements. Be sensible and wear one when
the weather dictates.

My head's been bald for so long (talking decades here), that it doesn't even feel the cold.

Sir, either you live south of the Mason-Dixon line or you have a serious problem with your circulation.
