Taking Of The Pelham 1,2,3
Travolta was suppposed to be headshaved for his role in the "Taking Of The Pelham 1,2,3". In all honesty, I'm glad he sports just "short hair". I'm tired of the film industry depicting headshavers as thiefs and criminals. He does wear some nice "ink".

There's been a great deal of positive pre-release press on this Travolta-Washington flic. This one will definitley be on my short list of must see's this summer.

Not certain if this shot is from Pelham, but the hair-free look is a good one for him.

Is that shot for real? If that's the real deal Travolta can be the new poster-boy for us headshavers.

The movie opens this Friday. Hollywood can't be original these days.
This is a remake of a 70's film by the same name. As far as remake's, they're usually not up to par with the originals.
The original Taking of Pelham One Two Three was released in 1974 and was based on a book by Morton Freedgood, published in 1973 under his pen name John Godey. I bought the movie about 8 years ago because the back of the box sounded awesome. The film was loaded with actors from the 70s like Walter Mathau, Martin Balsam and Robert Shaw. It was a great action heist movie.

Remakes never turn out as good as the originals.
There's talk of a possible remake of the 1977 film, Saturday Night Fever with Zach Efron taking the Travolta part.
My advice to the producers would be "bad idea, don't do it".
