Do people still recognize you??
I was doing some shopping the other day and someone said...."Hey Tony is that you? I almost didn't recognize you with your bald head!"
Anyway this person hasn't seen me in about 2 years, but "almost" didn't recognize me? Just for the record "she" said that she liked the new look, but backed away when she noticed my wedding ring.
So how about you? Have you ever been in a similar situation?
Even if you're not sporting the bald "do", have you run into an old flame or some high school mates. Did they recognize you?

At my 30th class reunion, someone asked my wife if the chemo was successful.

Yup people still recongnize me. They would probably NOT recognize me if I gre my hair back. I put on a wig one time and my grandkids started crying.

Most folks recognize me. I sported a flat-top b4 going totally bald. So I don't look that different.

Had the same experience this past weekend. Ran into some high school friends I hadn't seen for some time. Looked them face to face, eye to eye. None of them had any idea who i was until I started talking to them.

Folks still recognize me but what tends to throw them off a bit is the beard. I guess my hair was so thin for so long they must have figured I'd shave it off someday.

You don't have a radical beard. Should be recognizable to a certain extent.

Rodger, Debbie's still here. She's just choses not to enter into any of the discussion.
Back to the topic "recognition">>>>>>> This past Saturday I attended a reunion. Was surprised how many of my old buddies sported headshaves. By now, it's a very accepted look and rather main stream. My wife had a hard time finding me on her way back from the ladies room. She was looking for the shiny dome of my head, but discovered I wasn't the only one that but a razor to their skull.

Shaved heads are not as radical as they once were.Tyro wrote:
